Tower of Zot
The tower locks behind you the moment you clear it, taking 6 chests of strong equipment and 10 missable bestiary entries with it. Register every enemy type and open every chest before the boss fight.

New Enemies (*Missable)
Element notes to handle carefully:
- Purple Bavarois: physical hits glance off; cast Fire instead. Not missable (also spawns on Western Lunar Path later)
- Black Knight: weak to Fire and Holy; Cecil’s Sword of Legend hits hard
- Hell Turtle: absorbs Fire (Fire heals it). Weak to Ice; use Blizzara
- Ice Lizard and Cold Beast: absorb Ice; weak to Fire instead
1F
Follow the northwest path to find a chest at the top: Flame Mail. Walk east and through the door. Confirm you’ve fought a Hell Turtle before leaving; they only spawn on 1F and 2F.
2F
Walk south to a split, then east until hitting the wall. Push south to the bottom wall, then east to another split. Cut north and open the chest for a monster-in-a-box against a single Fiery Hound. Easy kill. Reward: Flame Sword. Walk through the western door.
3F to 4F
On 3F, walk south then northeast and follow the winding path to the next door. On 4F, push south, east to a split, then north to reach three doors. Each one leads to a 5F room with a chest.
5F Chests
The three 4F doors take you to three different 5F areas, each with a chest. Open all three before returning to 4F.
- West door: open the nearby chest for Hell Claw. Walk south through the path and grab the Flame Shield at the bottom. Return to 4F.
- Middle door: open the chest for Gaia Hammer. Exit to 4F.
- East door: open the chest for Sage’s Surplice. That’s 6/6 chests for the tower. Exit to 4F.
Back on 4F, walk south to the split, south again to the bottom wall, then east and follow the linear path to the next door. On the upper 5F, push south and enter the bottom room for a save point. Verify every bestiary entry is registered before proceeding. Once confirmed, cut west and approach the door.
How to Beat Magus Sisters
Heal at the save point and save again before entering the central door. On 6F, walk north for a cutscene and a scripted battle against Golbez. You don’t control this fight; just watch. After the scene, talk to Kain. Rosa and Kain rejoin the party.
How to Beat Barbariccia
Rosa teleports the party out and the tower vanishes for good. You wake up back at Castle Baron with the Magma Rock.
To the Underworld
Leave Castle Baron and board the airship. Fly south to Agart, the small town on a lone island you visited during the airship detour.
Walk inside Agart, up the staircase, and interact with the well. Use the Magma Rock to open a passage to the underworld. Exit town, board the airship, and fly into the crater in the mountains just above Agart.
The airship descends into the Underworld for the next chapter.
