Return to the Crystal Palace on the Moon. Use the healing tiles, then take the north stairs to 2F. Step on the middle tile to warp into the Lunar Subterrane, the final dungeon. Twenty-seven chests, four sealed weapon bosses, the complete Crystal and Dragon armor sets, two Ribbons, and the Flan Princess farming spot for the Pink Tail. This dungeon is massive.
B1-B3: Murasame
B1 (warp path). Head north across the staircase, then push east through the wall for a secret passage. Follow it to a monster chest: 2 Giant Warriors. Reward: Black Garb (311/342). Back at the entrance, find the opposite secret passage on the west side. Go through it, head south, and step on the warp pad. Go upstairs.
B2 (warp path). Head north for a monster chest: 2 Selene Guardians and 2 Dark Sages. Reward: Sage's Staff (312/342). Head west, south, step on the warp pad, and follow the path to B3.
B3. Cast Float on the party. Heal up and quick save, then interact with the katana on the pedestal.
Reward: Murasame, the second-best katana. Equip it on Edge. Use Teleport to return to the Crystal Palace and heal, then re-enter the final dungeon.
B2-B4: Dragon and Crystal gear
B2 (main path). From B1, go south to a staircase leading up. On B2, go south then east into a secret passage. Walk exactly 7 tiles north, then west, south, west, north, east (yes, it's that precise). Open the chest: Flame Whip (313/342). Back at the fork, head north, then west through another passage for Dragon Shield (314/342). And head upstairs.
B3 (main path). Go south then east through a secret passage. Follow it north then east for Dragon Helm (315/342). From that chest, head south then east to another secret passage. Follow it south, west, south, west for Dragon Mail and Dragon Gloves (316-317/342). Equip the Dragon set on Kain. Take the stairs up.
B4. Head east past the stairs for Artemis Arrow (318/342). Go down the large staircase, enter the west room for an Elixir (319/342). Head east and down another staircase to the southeast room.
New enemies start appearing here: Dinozombie, Ahriman, Blue Dragon, Red Dragon, Gold Dragon, and Li'l Murderer.
In the southeast room, head northwest for White Fang (320/342) and southeast for X-Potion (321/342). The south exit has a monster chest (Behemoth); the reward is a Stardust Rod (322/342). Take the stairs down to B5.
B5: Crystal equipment and Pink Tail
B5 is packed with monster chests holding Crystal gear. Quick save before each one.
Open the first chest (south of stairs): monster fight against Red Dragon + Blue Dragon. Reward: Crystal Shield (323/342). Go through the door. Head northeast through a secret passage for Protect Ring (324/342). Exit south for a Behemoth monster chest: Crystal Mail (325/342). Go back in, exit north for another monster chest (2 Red Dragons): Crystal Gloves (326/342). Return to the entrance, head west to the second room for White Robe (327/342). Go northwest to the lower floor for a monster chest (Dinozombie + Dark Sage): Crystal Helm (328/342). Enter the east room for Red Fang (329/342).
Head down the stairs near the Flan Princess room to B6.
B6-B7: Ragnarok, Holy Lance, and Ribbons
B6. Open both side chests for Artemis Arrow and Fuma Shuriken (330-331/342). Take the west stairs for a Cottage (332/342). Head to the base of the stairs, then west across a hidden bridge. Go northwest and push right through a secret passage. Follow it to the bottom area. Open the chest at the bottom of the stairs: Golden Apple (333/342). Take the east path to a warp pad. Follow the stairs up and step on another pad.
B5 (warp path). Continue up the stairs for a monster chest (Behemoth): Protect Ring (334/342). Step on the warp pad. Rest and save. Go south.
You receive the Ragnarok, the best sword in the game. Equip it on Cecil. Return to the Cottage chest past the hidden bridge, then take the east stairs to a room. The northwest chest is a monster chest (3 Selene Guardians + Dark Sage): Minerva Bustier (335/342). Go through the northeast door to B7.
B7. Three rooms on the south side. Enter the leftmost room first for a save point. The middle room has the third sealed weapon.
The Holy Lance is yours, the best lance in the game. Equip it on Kain. Rest at the save point, then enter the rightmost room. Walk between the pillars for a boss fight against 2 Lunasaurs (23,000 HP each, weak to Fire, absorb Holy magic). Cecil's Ragnarok and Kain's Holy Lance make quick work of them. Open the two chests for Ribbons (336-337/342). Equip them on Rosa and Rydia immediately.
Rest at the save point. Head east, north, down the stairs, and through the door to B8.
