Enemy list
Chest list
Submerge the Nautilus south of Saronia at Cape Twin Horn. The Temple of Time sits on the ocean floor, three floors deep with 10 chests and the key item needed to wake Unei. Enemies inside jump to a new tier of difficulty; Behemoths and Dragons can end a fight in two turns flat.
Temple of Time
Eight new bestiary entries fill the temple.
Behemoths are the biggest threat at 4,500 HP and 84 ATK. They show up more frequently on B3 and can demolish an unprepared party before your healer gets a turn. Dragons are nearly as dangerous at 4,000 HP; their Flame ability hits everyone, so equip any Ice Helms or Ice Armor you still have from Dragon Spire. Wyverns also hit hard at 620 HP and 78 ATK, though they at least lack party-wide attacks. And keep an eye out for the Pterodactyl, which is rare and only appears in the room where you find Noah's Lute.
B1. Head south from the entrance. The first locked door on your left holds a Diamond Helm (209/367); use a Magic Key or swap someone to Thief. Continue west to the next door for Diamond Bracers (210/367). Go down the nearby stairs into the water, head north, then east to the stairs leading down.
B2. Grab the Defender (211/367) right at the bottom of the stairs. It blocks physical attacks on occasion, making it a solid Knight weapon for the midgame. Head south through the door, then all the way east and through another locked door for Diamond Mail (212/367). Leave the room and go down the nearby steps to a watery open area. Enter the left door first for Orichalcum and Diamond Gloves (214/367), then return and take the right door. Stairs down to B3.
B3. Descend the waterfalls and climb up the rightmost cascade. Push against the right wall at the top to uncover a hidden passage.
Backtrack to the bottom of the waterfalls and head south to a fork. Go left through a locked door for a Diamond Shield (218/367). Take the right path to find Noah's Lute in the final room. Fight the Pterodactyl here before leaving; it won't spawn anywhere else in the temple. Use Teleport or an Ottershroom to exit.
Unei's Shrine
Surface the Nautilus and fly a short distance north along the Saronia coast. Unei's Shrine is a small cave tucked into the northern mountains. Head inside, walk all the way to the back bedroom, and approach Unei's bed from the left side. Play Noah's Lute to wake her.
After the scene, speak with Unei again. She explains that the Invincible, an ancient airship capable of crossing mountains, is hidden in the Ancient Ruins to the north. She joins the party and hands over the Fang of Fire on the way out. That's the third of four fangs you need to bypass Xande's statues; the fourth is still somewhere out there. Before heading to the ruins, there's one more dungeon worth clearing.
Sunken Cave
Fly to the small triangular island in the southeast corner of the map, submerge the Nautilus, and enter the cave. The Sunken Cave holds 19 chests across two floors, and most of the gear matches or beats what you picked up in the Temple of Time. Clear it before the Ancient Ruins; the Blood Lance and Aegis Shield alone make the detour worthwhile.
Six regular bestiary entries patrol the floors at 78-85 ATK and 480-590 HP; they hit harder than anything in the temple. Four more entries hide inside trap chests on B3.
B2. Head south from the entrance through B1's linear corridor and down to B2. Grab the Diamond Shield (219/367) to your left immediately. Follow the northeast path from the stairs for a Defender (220/367). Return to the stairs and go directly south along the curling path to a Dual Tomahawk (221/367). Head northeast and take the stairs down.
B3. Go south and west over two bridges to four chests: Diamond Mail, Air Knife, Loki Harp, and Diamond Bracers (225/367). Cross the next bridge south for three more: Power Bracers, Diamond Gloves, and an Elixir (228/367). From these chests, walk left through a hidden wall to reach four trap chests. Each one triggers a monster fight.
Top-left holds a Peryton (3,500 HP). It's a flying enemy, so Aeroga tears it apart. Reward: Blood Lance (229/367). Top-right contains a Zombie Dragon (3,000 HP); Phoenix Down or Raise can one-shot it, though they occasionally miss. Fire spells are the safer option. Reward: Aegis Shield (230/367), which grants magic evasion that'll stay relevant through the final dungeon.
Bottom-left rewards Reflective Mail (231/367) and bottom-right rewards Triton Hammer (232/367). Backtrack toward the entrance of B3 and head south over the bridge. Pick up the Ancient Sword (233/367) on your left, then continue south for four final chests: Diamond Shield, Bacchus's Cider, Diamond Helm, and Black Hole (237/367). Exit via Teleport or an Ottershroom.
The Blood Lance drains HP on every hit and stacks with Jump damage for Dragoons, giving your front-liner self-sustain without tying up your healer. Equip the Aegis Shield on whoever's taking the most magical damage. Board the Nautilus, surface, and fly back to the Saronia continent. Head to the city gates and follow the river west; it winds north to a cave entrance leading to the Ancient Ruins.
