Sail south from the Dwarven Hollows back through the enclosed sea. You'll spot a small town east of a mountain range; that's Tokkul. If you walk southwest of Tokkul into the desert, you can actually see Castle Hein floating in the sky, though you can't interact with it from here.
Create a save file before entering town. Everything inside the next dungeon is permanently missable (all 11 chests, 1 hidden item, and 5 bestiary entries disappear after the boss), so you'll want a fallback in case you miss anything on your first pass through Castle Hein.
Tokkul
When you enter Tokkul, a cutscene plays where your party is paralyzed, ambushed, and dragged off to Castle Hein. Hein was once King Argus's most trusted advisor before he went rogue, uprooting the Elder Tree itself to carve out this floating fortress.

Castle Hein
The dungeon spans five floors with 11 chests, 1 hidden item, and 5 new bestiary entries. All five enemies are missable since the dungeon vanishes after the boss.
None of these enemies are dramatically different from what you've fought before, but the numbers are higher across the board. Dullahan is the one to worry about at 480 HP and 48 ATK; he's also the rarest spawn in the dungeon and mostly appears on 3F in the room with the Royal Sword. Lamia hits at 44 ATK and Demon at 45, so keep your healer ready. Pharaoh (280 HP) and Lemur (360 HP) are the most common encounters and go down fast to physical attacks.
1F. You wake up in a jail cell with a few soldiers. The dialogue here explains that the castle is carved from the Elder Tree and that Hein has hidden the Royal Sword somewhere inside. Talk to the soldier against the left wall (the top one) to receive Mini (Hidden Item 21/61). If you need to heal, interact with the pot in the bottom right corner of your cell. Then cast Mini on your party and squeeze through the hole in the top left wall to escape.

2F. Cast Mini again on the next screen to return to normal size. Follow the path south and pick up Chest 1 (Holy Arrow, 111/367), then continue west until you see tree roots curving inward along the wall. Walk through them to reveal a hidden passage.
Before going up the stairs, grab Chest 2 (Phoenix Down, 112/367) sitting nearby. Then climb to 3F.
3F. You'll see a long hallway with 3 doors in front of you, and each room contains treasure. Start with the leftmost door: Room 1 has Chest 3 (30 Gil, 113/367) and Chest 4 (100 Gil, 114/367). This is also a good floor to hunt for Dullahan if he hasn't appeared yet; pace around the hallway or the north room until he shows up. Lamia is also a rare encounter and seems to spawn more often on 5F near the boss door, so don't panic if she takes a while to appear.
Room 2 (the middle door) has Chest 5 (3,300 Gil, 115/367) and Chest 6 (3,000 Gil, 116/367). And Room 3 (the rightmost door) contains Chest 7 (Phoenix Down, 117/367) and Chest 8 (Zeus's Wrath, 118/367). Your chest count should now be at 118/367.
Exit Room 3 and go up and around until you reach a door leading north. Behind it is Chest 9 (Royal Sword, 119/367), which is a solid weapon upgrade for your physical attacker. After collecting it, go left through a hidden passage in this room to find stairs leading up to 4F.
4F. Progress north along the path to collect Chest 10 (Phoenix Down, 120/367), then take the stairs in the bottom right corner of the map up to 5F.
5F. Don't go through the door right away. There's a path on the right that leads north to one last chest, Chest 11 (Elixir, 121/367). Once you have it, all 11 chests and the hidden item are accounted for. Before you step through the door to fight the boss, make absolutely sure you've registered every bestiary entry (#066 through #070) and collected everything. There is no coming back after the next fight. And if you don't have a Scholar in your party, swap one in now; Study makes this boss fight dramatically easier.
How to Beat Hein
Hein has 3,500 HP and his Barrier Shift rotates his weakness between fire, ice, and lightning every few turns. Hitting the wrong element heals him. Bring a Scholar and use Study after every shift to identify his current weakness, then have your Black Mage cast the matching spell. Without a Scholar, use Aero or physical attacks instead since wind is never resisted by his barrier.
Once Hein falls, a cutscene transports you back to the Living Woods where the freed Elder Tree grants you the Fang of Wind, a key item you'll need at Castle Argus to upgrade the Enterprise into an airship.

To heal from Hein's corruption, the Elder seals off the fairy forest for 1,000 years, which makes the Living Woods permanently inaccessible from this point forward. You'll be dropped back on the world map with Castle Hein gone for good. Walk south toward Tokkul, which you can now explore freely for its 2 chests and 5 hidden items.
Tokkul
There are no shops in Tokkul (unfortunately), but the town has 2 chests and 5 hidden items scattered around. The video below shows every pickup location:
Go north from the entrance and over to the east side of town. You'll see a patch of grass; face south and interact with it to collect Hidden Item 1 (Ice Staff, 22/61).

Now walk to the west side of town. In the bottom left corner you'll find a small dead end containing Hidden Item 2 (Bacchus's Cider, 23/61).

From there, go north and you'll find Hidden Item 3 (Hi-Potion, 24/61) in the grass nearby.

Cross over to the north side of the house. Between the trees you'll see another dead end with a grass patch; interact with it for Hidden Item 4 (Lamia Scale, 25/61).

Finally, enter the furthest north house in town and walk through the fireplace at the top to reach a secret room. Check the pot in the bottom right for Hidden Item 5 (Sansetsukon, 26/61); it's a stronger set of nunchaku for Monks if you didn't buy one at the Dwarven Hollows shop. Open the two chests nearby for a Kenpo Gi (122/367) and a Phoenix Down (123/367).

With all 5 hidden items and both chests collected, you're done in Tokkul. Exit to the world map and continue to Castle Argus, where the Fang of Wind will let you upgrade the Enterprise.
