Charm Items - Complete Steal List

Ayla's Charm tech steals items from enemies. Some of the best equipment in the game can't be found any other way; you have to steal it. Charm's success rate depends on Ayla's level versus the enemy's stats, so she'll fail sometimes against tougher targets.

Charm Strategies

Improving Success Rate. Level Ayla as high as you can before attempting tough charms. Equip the Haste Helm or cast Haste so she gets more attempts per fight. Use defensive techs to survive while you keep trying—and remember that bosses with multiple parts can be Charmed separately.

Recommended Party Setups:

Charm + Healing: Ayla, Marle, Frog. Sustain while Charming.
Charm + Damage: Ayla, Crono, Lucca. Quick kills once Charm succeeds.
Charm + Control: Ayla, Robo, Marle. Status effects and healing.
