Trophy Guide - Final Fantasy 1
Every trophy unlocks through normal gameplay. Follow the walkthrough, open every chest, and fight every enemy type. The only post-game grind is leveling to 50 and hunting Warmech for the bestiary. This guide was played on PlayStation 5 but trophies and achievements are the same across all platforms.
All trophies achievable with Boost settings enabled.
Story Trophies
You’ll earn these as you progress through the story. Each one unlocks after defeating a major boss, and they can’t be missed. Our walkthrough covers every boss fight in detail.
Progress Trophies
Combat Trophies
Kill counts come naturally. The level 50 grind is best done in Chaos Shrine (past) with 4x EXP and auto-battle.
Bestiary Trophies
There are 128 enemies in the game and you can check your progress under Config > Bestiary. Most entries fill in as you play through the walkthrough but Warmech is the one most players struggle to find. It’s a rare spawn that only shows up on the bridge of the Flying Fortress 5F, the long corridor just before Tiamat. You might need to walk back and forth for a while before it appears.
Treasure Trophies
249 chests total. Nothing’s missable. Press Square on the map, then Triangle to toggle chest markers.
Gil Trophies
These trophies track your total Gil earned over the entire game, not what’s sitting in your wallet. So don’t worry about saving up. Buy whatever you need and the trophies will pop on their own, especially with 4x Gil enabled.
