Meteorites & Departure
After Ronka Ruins, four meteorites scattered across Bartz’s World need attention. Cid leads a cleanup run with three boss fights, then the Castle Walse basement opens up. 1 chest, 4 new bestiary entries, and 4 hidden items.
The Catapult note
Try to disembark the airship anywhere over the sea to trigger a short cutscene. Once control returns, head to the Catapult next to Crescent and step inside.
In the hangar, head south and west through the bridges, then make your way to the Living Quarters. Step into the eastern bedroom and read the note on the workbench.
The note explains that Cid took the leftover Adamantite back to the Tycoon Meteorite. That’s our next stop.
Tycoon Meteorite
Fly the airship to the Tycoon Meteorite (northwest of the Catapult, just south of Castle Tycoon). Step inside and watch the scene, then leave.
Castle Tycoon
Board the airship and head to Castle Tycoon. Enter the throne room, speak to the Chancellor, and choose to stay the night.
The morning scene sets up the next meteorite. Leave the castle.
Gohn Meteorite
Fly to the Gohn meteorite (the crater left behind after the fortress flew off). Land nearby and head inside. Speak to Cid for a scene; he and Mid go in ahead, and after a wait the party follows.
Heal up and quick-save before going down. The fight at the bottom drops Aqua Breath, which we should already have from Dhorme Chimera back at the Karnak desert. This is an easier secondary source for anyone who skipped that learn.
How to Beat Chimera Brain
Exit the meteorite after the win.
Karnak Meteorite
Fly to the Karnak meteorite. Head north, talk to Cid, watch the scene, then step inside. Follow the linear path downstairs, head south, and interact with the green orb to start the fight.
How to Beat Titan
Winning adds Titan to the Summoner’s summon list. Exit the meteorite.
Walse Meteorite
Fly to the Walse meteorite. Speak to Cid as usual and wait. This time the boss comes out to meet the party instead of the other way around.
How to Beat Purobolos x6
After the fight, watch the scenes. The world map shows the next destination, but we have unfinished business before warping out.
Castle Walse cleanup
Fly to Castle Walse, just south of the meteorite. The basement was blocked earlier in the game by Jackanapes, which the party couldn’t kill at that level. Level 5 Death changes that.
Enter the castle, head east on 2F and take the stairs down to 1F. Go through the northeastern door and down the stairs to B1.
New Enemies
- Jackanapes hits hard at this point in the game but has 666 HP. Level 5 Death OHKOs it (the enemy’s level is divisible by 5). Carries Moon Flute as a backup Blue Magic source if it wasn’t picked up off Page 256 in the Library.
Follow the linear path to a split. Take the left door for the Elven Mantle chest, then backtrack and head through the right door for three pots in a row.
One more pickup before leaving: head back up to 2F, walk north through the double doors, around the room to the bottom-right, and down the stairs into the Storehouse. The first barrel on the right holds a Phoenix Down.
That clears Castle Walse for good. Exit to the overworld.
End-of-World checklist
This is the last chance to clean up anything missed in Bartz’s World before the warp moves the party forward. The path back closes soon, so double-check the trackers below.

Departure
When ready, fly to the area west of the Pirate’s Hideout. A warp pad waits there.
Stepping on the warp triggers a cutscene of the party jumping in. The next chapter picks up after it resolves.
